Honey plasters for healing wounds - Urgo

Thanks to its Hydro-Honey compress , URGO Honey Healing Bandages absorbs exudates, relieves and promotes the healing of your wounds and superficial burns. Its transparent waterproof support resists water and provides discreet protection.

Instructions for use:

In the case of a burn: first hold the wound under cold (but not icy) water for 15 minutes to limit the spread of the burn. If there is a blister, do not pierce it.

In all cases:

1. Clean your hands with soap and water
2. Clean the wound with water or saline solution. Disinfect the wound and its surrounding area with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). In the case of a burn, never use colored antiseptics such as eosin. Dry carefully with a sterile compress. Rinse with water or saline solution.
3. Using a compress, carefully dry the lesion and its surroundings. Stop any bleeding by applying pressure.
4. Open the sachet, remove the dressing. Remove the protective wings and apply the dressing to the wound. If the dressing is applied to a junction or moving part, the waterproof character may be reduced.
5. Monitor the wound and its surroundings regularly.
6. The dressing should not be left in place for more than 5 days; it should be removed if it has not come off by itself. Renew the dressing according to the instructions for use.
7. To remove the dressing, gently pull the dressing by one corner, parallel to the skin. Stretch and release the dressing successively until it comes off. You can moisten the skin if necessary.

Warning: Single use product, do not reuse. Reusing a single use product may cause infection risks. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.

Precautions for use:

• Reserved for the treatment of localized wounds, the size of which does not exceed the format of the compress. If you do not notice any improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your doctor. This product contains honey. Do not use if you are allergic to honey.
• For any burns in children, ask your pharmacist for advice.
• In the presence of clinical signs of local infection (redness extending to uninjured skin, pain, purulent exudates, etc.), foreign bodies in the wound, significant bleeding, bites, stings with a sharp and/or dirty object, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
• The URGO healing Honey dressing must be used immediately after opening the sachet and stored away from light.
• In children, remove the dressing gently and carefully.
