Urgopore - lightweight fixation of dressings and medical equipment - Urgo

Urgopore is a plaster indicated for the fixing and maintaining dressings and medical equipment frequent renewal on sensitive and fragile skin. Microporous, it lets the skin breathe and can be removed without leaving a trace. It is hypoallergenic to respect the most sensitive skin.

Apply to cleansed skin, disinfected with an antiseptic, then rinsed with saline solution and dried.
The adhesive tape is easily torn to adapt the length of the tape to the use.
Remove carefully and renew on average every 24 hours, or as prescribed.

Precautions for use:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Designed to stick to healthy skin.
• The concomitant presence of greasy products or hairs, use on damp areas, on joint areas or areas of friction can harm the adhesiveness and lead to the loss of the medical device held and a delay in healing (infection, multiple dressing changes, etc.)
• For use in the crook of the elbow, apply the adhesive tape in the direction of the elbow crease.
• To maintain optimal healing conditions, renew the adhesive tape if it becomes wet or loses its adhesiveness.
• The maintenance of medical equipment must have been explained by a healthcare professional.
  Do not sterilize.

Contraindications: Not suitable for fixing/holding wet equipment or probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators).

Adverse reactions: This adhesive tape may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation or dermatitis, especially on dry or damaged skin. If a local reaction or itching occurs, stop using the product and consult your healthcare professional.

To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:

• Follow the instructions carefully.
• Do not reuse a used adhesive bandage.
• Do not apply the adhesive bandage directly to damaged skin, eyes or mucous membranes (risk of irritation, inflammation, pain).
• Do not use after expiration date.
• Do not use a damaged product.

Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and to the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM).
